SEOUL, Nov. 10 (Yonhap) -- South Korean stocks traded 0.86 percent higher late
Tuesday morning as overnight rallies in U.S. markets gave a boost to investor
sentiment, analysts said.
The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) rose 13.54 points to
1,590.33 as of 11:20 a.m.
Foreign investors scooped up local stocks for the third straight session, lending

the morning session.
Financial shares and automakers gained ground. Top financial services company KB
Financial Group rose 1.53 percent and leading carmaker Hyundai Motor advanced

U.S. markets closed sharply higher Monday after the Group of 20 countries pledged
to support the global economic recovery by maintaining stimulus measures. The Dow
Jones industrial average jumped 2.03 percent and the tech-laden Nasdaq composite
index rose 1.97 percent.
The local currency was trading at 1,158.60 won to the U.S. dollar as of 11:20
