OMV TO INCREASE ITS OIL PRODUCTION UP TO 30,000 BPD BY END 2011

SHABWA, Nov. 11 (Saba)- Austrian OMV company is to increase it crude
oil production by end of 2011 in Block S2 of Arma district in
Shabwa province from 27,000 barrels bpd 30,000 barrels bpd.

In his meeting with Shabwa governor Ali al Ahmadi, the director of the
company affirmed concern of the company to improve its operations in
the province, pointing out to the desire of the company to increase
its production in coming two years.

The governor discussed with the director of company issues related to contributions of the company in development projects in the province and coordination with the
leadership of the province over needs of the company from local labor.

The OMV, the leading oil and gas group in Central Europe, started oil production with early production facilities in the Block S2 in December of 2006.
