GS Home Shopping to make inroads into India

SEOUL, Nov. 13 (Yonhap) -- GS Home Shopping Inc., a South Korean TV shopping
channel, said Friday it signed a contract to buy a stake in India's TV18 HSN
Holdings Ltd. to make inroads into the world's second-most populous country.
Under the contract, GS Home Shopping will purchase a 15-percent stake in the
holding company of an Indian cable TV shopping channel for 21.4 billion won
(US$18.4 million), the South Korean company said in a statement.
