OVER 780 CASES OF DENGUE FEVER IN TAIZ

TAIZ, Nov. 15 (Saba) - The affirmed cases of Dengue Fever reached 786 cases in Taiz province, south Yemen, Newsyemen Website has reported.

The figure was confirmed by Director of Primary Care in Taiz Abdul-Basit al-Duab'ai during a meeting for local councils' members, executive offices' directors and preachers chaired by Taiz governor Hamoud al-Sufi to discuss the disease's developments and ways to encounter it.

Al-Duab'ai said that one of the main reasons behind spreading the disease is the water shortage Taiz province suffers from.

Al-Duab'ai said waters stored openly in and around houses resulted in spreading mosquitoes, which assist in circulating the Dengue Fever among people in Taiz city.
