Man searches for missing cousin, alleges trafficking

Kuala Lumpur, Nov 16 (PTI) For Sunil Kumar, it has been
fifteen long years since he started looking for his cousin
Prakash Atteprambil from India's southern state of Kerala who
disappeared after leaving for Malaysia in search of better
opportunities.
Kumar(34), a manager in a Chennai-based garment company,
alleged that his cousin was trafficked into Malaysia along
with other Indian nationals by a Kerala-based agent.
Prakash and 44 others, in search of greener pastures took
up an offer by the agent and left for Malaysia, he said.
From those who managed to return, it was learnt that
Prakash had apparently gone mad and disappeared from the flat
soon after agents took their passports and told them to look
for jobs, Kumar told 'The Star'.
Prakash is married and has three daughters, his cousin
said adding that he is seeking help from the media to find
him. PTI
