YEMEN, UAE SEEK BETTER SECURITY COOPERATION



SANA'A, Nov. 16 (Saba) - The Yemeni-UAE Security Committee started on Monday a Sana'a meeting with fighting terrorism and drugs as well as establishing a unified mechanism to tackle trafficking on top of the agenda.

The meeting co-chaired by deputies Interior Ministers of both Arab states also discussed the ways of streamlining measures over the stay of the Yemeni expatriates in the United Arab Emirates besides other topics on the agenda.

At the beginning, the meeting reviewed the minute of the previous meeting and read a report on its outcomes the countries have already implemented.

The two countries voiced confidence the meeting would produce productive outcomes that will help expand mutual security cooperation particularly on combating terrorism and organized crime as well as on training and expertise exchange between them.
