Samsung Engineering clinches US$220 mln plant order



SEOUL, Nov. 18 (Yonhap) -- Samsung Engineering Co., South Korea's largest plant
builder, said Wednesday that it has won a US$220 million order from a state-run
oil company of Trinidad and Tobago to build an ultra low sulfur diesel plant.
Under the deal with Petroleum Company of Trinidad and Tobago Ltd., Samsung
Engineering plans to complete the plant by March 2012, the South Korean company
said.
The plant with a daily production capacity of 40,000 tons of diesel will be
built in a refinery complex in Pointe-a-pierre, 38 kilometers south of
Port-of-Spain, the capital of the country in the Caribbean.
