HMC Investment Securities launches Beijing office

SEOUL, Nov. 18 (Yonhap) -- HMC Investment Securities Co., South Korea's midsize
brokerage affiliated with Hyundai Motor Co., opened an office in Beijing on
Wednesday in a bid to expand its presence in Asian countries, the company said.
The brokerage's Beijing office has been set up with the aim of expanding business
networks in major Asian financial cities, the company said.
"HMC Investment plans to encourage Chinese firms' listing on the local bourse
while providing Korean companies with investment opportunities in China," the
company said in a statement.
