Saudi-Czech Accord on Investment Promotion and Protection Signed

Riyadh, November 18, SPA -- The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Czech Republic
signed here today an agreement on mutual promotion and protection of investments
between the two countries.

The agreement was signed by Minister of Finance Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf
and Czech Minister of Finance Eduoard Janota.

Dr. Al-Assaf said that the agreement forms a legal framework for providing
investors from the two countries with guarantees for their investments and rights,
noting that trade exchange between the two countries amounted to SR 750 million in
2007.
