S. Korea 52nd in FIFA world rankings


SEOUL, Nov. 20 (Yonhap) -- South Korea fell four notches to 52nd in the FIFA
world rankings, according to a monthly report released Friday by the world soccer
governing body.

Australia were up three notches with 21st, keeping their status as the
highest-ranked team in the Asian Football Confederation. Japan moved down three
spots to 43rd.
North Korea went up seven notches to 84th.
Spain snatched the world's No. 1 spot from Brazil with 1,622 points. Brazil came
next with 1,592, trailed by the Netherlands, Italy, Portugal, Germany and France.
