Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Awarded Prize of Services for Handicapped
Riyadh, November 21, SPA-- The Regional Presidency of International Special Olympics
for Middle East and North Africa has awarded its International Prize for the year
2009 to Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Riyadh Region in recognition of
his great and continuing efforts in the service of the handicapped persons in the
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and his support for scientific researches in the field of
handicap through his chairmanship and support for a number of institutions dealing
with the handicapped, it has been announced by the Presidency's President Eng.
Aiyman Abdulwahab.
Prince Sultan bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, President-General of Youth Welfare, and
President of Saudi Federation of Sport Persons with Special Needs and Prince Nawaf
bin Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Vice President-General of Youth Welfare have
congratulated Prince Salman on this occasion.
