King Awards King Abdulaziz Sash to Italian Premier

Jeddah, November 22, SPA--The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin
Abdulaziz Al Saud awarded at his palace here on Saturday evening King Abdulaziz
Sash of the first class to Italian Premier Silvio Berlusconi.
The Italian Premier expressed his thanks to and appreciation of the King for
awarding him the Sash and expressed his pride in this honoring.
Then the King and the Italian Premier held a meeting and discussed aspects of
cooperation between the two countries, ways of their enhancement in various fields
as well as overall developments at regional and international arenas and the
positions of the two countries towards them.
On the Saudi side, the meeting was attended by Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, Second
Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior; Prince Khalid Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz, the
Governor of Makkah Region; Prince Miqren bin Abdulaziz, President of General
Intelligence; Minister of Communications and Information Technology Eng. Mohammed
Jamil bin Ahmed Mulla, who is the accompanying minister; and Saudi Charge D'affaires
to Italy Adnan Mandeel.
It was also attended by the delegation accompanying the Italian Premier and Italian
Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Eugenio d'Auria
