YEMEN, S.KOREA TALK COOPERATION IN COMMUNICATIONS SECTOR

SANA'A, Nov.22 (Saba) - Minister of Communications and Information
Technology Kamal al-Jabri discussed here on Sunday with South Korea
ambassador to Yemen Won-ho Kwak the cooperation areas between the
two friendly countries especially the telecommunication sector.

The meeting reviewed efforts of Ministry of Communications and
Information Technology in developing the telecommunication sector
and availing from the Korean experience in e-government field and
spreading computers in the society.

Al-Jabri praised Korea's support to Yemen in various fields
especially in field of telecommunication, affirming that the
ministry is seeking through the general strategy of communication
and information technology to cover all Yemeni lands, particularly
Yemeni islands with communication services.

For his part, the Korean Ambassador noted the remarkable development
witnessed by the communication and information technology sector in
Yemen in the recent years, confirming his country's support to the
process of construction and development in Yemen.
