S. Korean casino company shoots for 500 bln won in sales next year


SEOUL, Nov. 23 (Yonhap) -- Grand Korea Leisure Co. (GKL), the operator of a
casino business for foreign tourists, said Monday it will push ahead with its
plan to earn 500 billion won (US$433.65 miliion) in sales next year by providing
high-quality service.
GKL, which opened casinos in Seoul and Busan under the brand name Seven Luck in
2006, has already surpassed its sales target of 400 billion won for this year, up
from 391.3 billion won in 2008 and 325.1 billion won in 2007 and 129.1 billion
won in 2006.
The casino company, which was listed on the South Korean bourse on Friday, ranked
second in terms of trade volume following Samsung Electronics Co. as of Sunday.
