S. Korean pastor gets Cambodian medal

SEOUL, Nov. 23 (Yonhap) -- A South Korean pastor and chairman of the local
missionary TV network Far East Broadcasting Company (FEBC), Kim Jang-hwan,
received a diplomatic medal from Cambodia, the broadcaster said Monday.
Kim, 75, received the Sahak Metri Thnak Moha Sena, the highest medal given by the
Cambodian government to businessmen and government officials to honor their
humanitarian efforts and roles in enhancing diplomatic ties, FEBC said.
Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen awarded the medal at the Cambodian parliament
earlier in the day.
The Cambodian government honored Kim for his humanitarian activities that he has
conducted since 2006, including the donation of 5,000 radios to the country and
establishing ties with the Cambodian national soccer team, FEBC said.
