Singaporean delegation arrives in N. Korea

SEOUL, Nov. 23 (Yonhap) -- A delegation from Singapore's foreign ministry arrived
in Pyongyang on Monday, North Korean media said in a brief dispatch.
The delegation led by Bilahari Kausikan, second permanent secretary of the
ministry, came by air, the Korean Central News Agency said, without elaborating
on the purpose of the visit.
Singapore built diplomatic relations with both North and South Korea in 1975.
The Southeast Asian city state hosted this year's summit of the Asia-Pacific
Economic Cooperation forum last week, where leaders of countries participating in
the North Korea nuclear disarmament talks were among the participants.
