EXECUTIVE PLAN TO OPERATE MAREB GAS POWER STATION DISCUSSED

SANA'A, Nov. 23 (Saba)- Headed by Prime Minister Ali Mujawar, a
ministerial committee of following up solutions to operate Mareb Gas
Power Plant discussed a report over level of implementation for
these solutions.

The report was presented by the general electricity corporation and
Safar Company over steps taken to carry out the executive plan for
these solutions within a timetable approved by the committee.

Mujawar insisted on the corporation and the company to comply with
the plan in accordance with the timetable to benefit from the
capacities of the station at 341 MgW.

Recently, the committee approved certain solutions to operate the
station urgently such as technique of treating fluids associated
with gas and limit them to a suitable degree for the plant to
produce power.

In addition to setting up fluid leakage points along the pipeline
linking the company and the plant, fluid nets are being under
construction and installation to purify gas. AH
