Thorawade said he tried to use wireless to pass on a
message about the incident but because of heavy traffic the
message could not be sent.
"I was in front of Parsi Ambulance Service building
and saw a vehicle moving towards Masjid Road. From the right
side of the vehicle a person was firing at people," the
officer said adding, he thereafter went to Bombay Hospital
where a few victims from Taj Hotel and other places had been
brought.
To a query by the court, the witness said he had not
followed the terrorists. PTI
