Seoul stocks open lower on foreign selling

SEOUL, Nov. 24 (Yonhap) -- South Korean stocks started slightly lower Tuesday on
profit taking by foreign investors, analysts said.
The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) dropped 3.07 points, or
0.19 percent, to 1,616.98 in the first 15 minutes of trading.
Foreign investors continued their sell-off for a second day, taking profits from
recent rallies on the Seoul bourse.
The local currency was trading at 1,153.60 won to the U.S. dollar as of 9:15
a.m., up 2.10 won from Monday's close.
