Seoul stocks down 0.76 pct in late morning

SEOUL, Nov. 24 (Yonhap) -- South Korean stocks traded 0.76 percent lower late
Tuesday morning as foreign and institutional investors took profits, analysts
said.
The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) dropped 12.28 points to
trade at 1,606.77 as of 11:20 a.m.
Tech and financial firms led the broader market fall, as investors continued
their sell-offs for a second day, taking profits from recent rallies on the Seoul
bourse.
The local currency was trading at 1,156.50 won to the U.S. dollar as of 11:20
a.m., down 0.80 won from Monday's close.
