UNICEF ready to assist Yemen to face Sa'ada war challenges
SANA'A, Nov. 24 (Saba) -
UNICEF affirmed on Tuesday its readiness to provide all possible assistance to
assist Yemen
government to face the challenges imposed by Sa'ada war.
During her meeting with Minister of Planning and International Cooperation
Abdul-Karim al-Arhabi, UNICEF Regional Director for the Middle East and North
Africa Sigrid Kaag
voiced its keenness on presenting all support for implementing different projects
and programs funded by the UNICEF.
Al-Arhabi and Kaag talked about details of the humanitarian situations in Yemen as
well as the circumstances of the rebellion in Sa'ada governorate and the displaced
people
conditions there.
The meeting reviewed some issues related to bilateral cooperation in education and
child care.
The Minister affirmed Yemen's keenness to deal with such circumstances according to
a humanitarian perspective.
