King Meets Spanish Premier
Jeddah, November 25, SPA-- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah
Abdulaziz Al Saud held a meeting at his palace here on Tuesday evening with Spanish
Premier José Luis Rodr?guez Zapatero.
At the outset of the meeting, the Premier conveyed to the King the greetings of
Spain's King Juan Carlos. In turn, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz sent his greetings to
the Spanish King.
During the meeting, they discussed overall developments at regional and
international arenas and the positions of the two countries towards them, as well as
aspects of cooperation between the two countries and ways of their enhancement in
all fields in the interest of the two friendly countries and their peoples.
On the Saudi side, the meeting was attended by Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Second
Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior; Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, the Governor of
Makkah Region, Prince Ahmad bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Interior; Prince
Miqren bin Abdulaziz, President of General Intelligence; Prince Saud bin Naif bin
Abdulaziz, Saudi Ambassador to Spain; and Minister of Transport Dr. Jubarah bin Eid
Al-Suraiseri, who is the accompanying minister.
On the Spanish side, it was attended by Spanish Foreign Minister Miguel Angel
Moratinos, and a number of officials accompanying the Spanish Premier as well as
Spain's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Manuel Alabart.
