Medvedev, China top military official discuss military cooperation.

BARVIKHA, November 26 (Itar-Tass) - Russian President Dmitry Medvedev
proposed to discuss the prospects of military-technical cooperation
between Russia and China at a meeting with Vice-Chairman of the Chinese
Central Military Commission Guo Boxiong at a Russian presidential
residence in the Moscow region on Thursday.

In a welcome address to the Chinese delegation the president expressed
hope that the sides will discuss "the prospects of Russian-Chinese
cooperation, including in the military-technical sphere" at the Thursday
meeting.
"The two countries are developing strong partnership that is based on
our almost identical basic interests," Medvedev noted.
Defence Minister Anatoly Serdyukov and director of the Federal Service
for Military-Technical Cooperation Mikhail Dmitriyev also represent Russia
at the meeting.
