Death toll from Busan shooting range fire rises to 14


BUSAN, Nov. 27 (Yonhap) -- A Japanese tourist died of heart failure Friday after
being treated for severe burns from a blaze at an indoor shooting range in Busan,
bringing the incident's death toll to 14, police said.

Hana Hospital in the southern port city said that Ryohei Harada, 37, died at 8:30
a.m. Friday after his heart function fatally weakened, despite undergoing rounds
of skin surgery after the Nov. 14 fire, according to police.
The 14 victims included nine Japanese tourists and two South Korean tour guides,
police said, adding that one more Japanese tourist is in critical condition due
to serious burns.
The Japanese people were visiting the shooting range on a group tour.
The exact cause of the deadly blaze has yet to be clarified, despite nearly 15
days of intensive investigation.
