S. Korea weighs cooperation with Argentina on tidal power generation
SEOUL, Dec. 1 (Yonhap) -- South Korea will send a delegation to Argentina this week to investigate possible cooperation with the South American country in the tidal power generation field, government officials said Tuesday.
The delegation will leave for the country on Wednesday to visit bay areas of
Puerto Madryn, around 1,000 kilometers south of its capital city Buenos Aires, to
assess the feasibility of tidal power generation, according to the Ministry of
Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs.
The move is a follow-up measure to a promise both countries made during a May
maritime cooperation workshop held in Peru, the ministry added.
