Ssangyong Motor's auto sales rise 22.5 pct in November

SEOUL, Dec. 1 (Yonhap) -- Ssangyong Motor Co., South Korea's smallest carmaker,
said Tuesday its auto sales rose 22.5 percent in November from a year ago, due to
rising demand in the domestic market.
Ssangyong, which has been under bankruptcy protection since February, sold 4,696
units last month, with domestic sales jumping 59 percent to 2,595 units and
exports down 4.6 percent to 2,101 units, the company said in a statement.
