Korean Air to introduce five new Boeing planes

SEOUL, Dec. 4 (Yonhap) -- Korean Air Lines Co., South Korea's biggest carrier,
said Friday that it has decided to introduce five B747-8 passenger aircraft to
its fleet manufactured by U.S. aviation giant Boeing Co.

Korean Air plans to add the planes to its fleet between 2013 and 2015, the
carrier said in a statement.
Korean Air has already ordered seven B747-8 freighters, bringing the total number
of B747-8 aircraft to be delivered to the carrier to 12.
The batch of the B747-8 freighters is scheduled to be delivered in the fourth
quarter of next year.
