Three killed, two injured in explosion at chemical plant

YONGIN, South Korea, Dec. 4 (Yonhap) -- Three people were killed and two others
injured Friday in an explosion at a chemical manufacturing plant on the outskirts
of Seoul, police said.

The explosion occurred at 3:12 p.m. at the factory in Yongin, some 49 kilometers
south of the country's capital, they said. The injured were taken to nearby
hospitals for treatment.
Investigators said they are looking into the exact cause of the explosion.
