Mauritania endorses two loan accords with IDB

Nouakchott, Mauritania, December 04, SPA -- The Mauritanian Council of Ministers
has approved two loan accords signed here on December 02, 2009, between the
Mauritanian Government and Islamic Development Bank (IDB) which are earmarked for
financing the rehabilitation of the irrigated areas of the basin "Alrakiz" in
Southern Mauritania.


The Two accords are worth 8.4 Million Islamic Dinars.


This project will facilitate reclamation of the irrigated area totaling 2,400
hectares in "Alrakiz" in Southern Mauritania.
