PM reviews with CCC investment opportunities in Yemen
SANA'A, Dec.06 (Saba) - Prime Minister Ali Mujawar reviewed here on Sunday with the Consolidated Contactors International Company (CCC)'s Senior Executive President Samer Khoury the available investment
opportunities in oil, electricity and water areas in Yemen.
The discussion was placed on Safer-Mabar Gas Pipeline project, power generation
stations in Hodeidah, Aden and Hadramout provinces and sea water desalination as
well as
the options and alternatives to reaffirm the partnership in those areas and achieve
the common goals.
The premier noted the leading investment role of the CCC in Yemen, pointing the
government's efforts to facilitate the investment procedures and strengthen the
partnership
with the private sector in different fields including service sector.
He welcomed the company's intention to invest in the service sectors, asserting
that it would receive all support and care by the government.
In this regard, Mujawar directed the concerned authorities to discuss the technical
and procedural aspects with the company and identify the suitable alternative to
achieve
the investment partnership in the areas that have been discussed.
For his part, the CCC's Executive President affirmed his company's keenness to
develop its investment activity in Yemen during the current period.
Meanwhile, he indicated the similar projects accomplished by the CCC in a number of
Arab and foreign countries and the mechanism adopted to achieve partnership with
these
countries in those areas.
