Cases of Swine Flue in Yemen reach 4230



SANA'A, Dec. 08 (Saba)- The cases of infection with Swine Flue in Yemen have reached 4230, said a report of Ministry of Public Health and Population.

The report, presented to the cabinet's meeting held on Tuesday for discussing developments of infection with H1N1 virus and health services, indicated that 3820 cases have been recovered while 386 are still receiving treatment.

The report affirmed that the ministry had doubled surveillance teams in areas registering new infections with the virus, especially in universities, schools and institutes.

The cabinet also discussed another report presented by the Ministry over infection with dengue fever in Taiz and efforts for curbing the pandemic in a number of the governorate's districts.

It directed minister of health and Taiz governor to provide complete report to the cabinet's next meeting over precautionary measures and treatments they provided to infected cases.
