JICA AFFIRMS CONTINUATION OF YEMEN DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS

SANA'A, Dec. 09 (Saba)- Sana'a governor Human Duwaid received on Wednesday the resident representative of the Japan International Cooperation Development (JICA) Takeshi Komori.

During the meeting, Duwait praised the support presented by the Japanese government for Yemen for a number of development projects in the country, affirming that the Japanese experts and people in Yemen will be given all care and facilitation needed.

He noted that the kidnapping case of the Japanese engineer in Yemen is an odd incident and has no effect on the growing Yemeni-Japanese relations.

For his part, Komori affirmed that the Japanese government will continue to present help and support for the various developmental projects in Yemen, thanking the Yemeni government for managing to
release the Japanese kidnapped hostage in safety.
