Seoul stocks up 0.2 pct late morning
SEOUL, Dec. 11 (Yonhap) -- South Korean stocks traded 0.2 percent lower late Friday morning, led by institutional buying, analysts said.
The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) rose 3.34 points to trade
at 1,656.07 as of 11:20 a.m.
Massive purchases by institutional investors helped the KOSPI overcome losses in
earlier trading and step into positive terrain.
The local currency was trading at 1,165.85 won to the U.S. dollar as of 11:20
a.m., up 0.15 won from Thursday's close.
