THREE MINISTERS TO DECLARE FOREST MANAGEMENT UNIT IN BALI
Denpasar, Bali, Dec 11 (ANTARA) - Three cabinet ministers are scheduled to jointly declare the establishment of a National Forest Management Center (KPH) in Bali, on December 14, 2009, a forestry service official said.
"The activity will be held at Ngurah Rai Forest Park, Badung district," Head of Bali's Forestry Service Anak Agung Ngurah Buana said here on Friday.
The three ministers who will launch the KPH in Indonesia are Forestry Minister Zulkifli Hasan, Home Affairs Minister Gamawan Fauzi and Minister of State Administrative Reforms EE Mangindaan.
Buana said that nine governors and representatives of 23 provinces in Indonesia would attend the function. The 23 provinces are provinces which have formed KPH in their respective region.
He said that inputs on the KPH would be taken to the Copenhagen meeting on climate change in Denmark by Forestry Minister Zulkifli Hasan.
