ENT-LINDSAY 2 LAST
The 'Mean Girls' actress is trying to better her wild
image and has teamed up with the BBC to make the documentary
on trafficking of women and children, according to reports.
After interviewing the girls, Lohan, who has battled
alcohol and drug addictions, promised to raise awareness on
the issue in other countries as well.
Dressed in a black sleeveless top, black tights and
knee-length black boots, Lohan spent more than three hours at
the centre and also enjoyed a cultural programme by the
children, before gifting them dolls and sweets.
"Over 40 children saved so far... Within one day's
work... This is what life is about... Doing this is a life
worth living," she had earlier wrote on the micro-blogging
website Twitter while referring to her India visit.
Lohan was so touched by her experience that she has
even promised to come back as soon as possible along with her
mother and sister.
"She has promised us to return as soon as possible
with her mother and sister. She has also promised us to be in
touch through e-mail," Chandranath Nag, in-charge of the
centre, said.
"I saw her as a completely changed lady after she left
us. When she got down from the car, I thought she is a big
star, but when she went back, I felt like that she is just
like one of us," he said. PTI
