Yemen to partake in ACAC`s annual meeting

SANA'A,Dec.12 (Saba)- Yemen is to take
part in the annual meeting of Executive Board of the Arab Civil Aviation Commission
(ACAC)
to be kicked off on Monday in Moroccan capital ,Rabat.
As leaving Sana'a on Saturday, President of the Civil Aviation and Meteorology
Authority Hamid Faraj made it clear to Saba that Yemen will present several
proposals in the
meeting addressing the impact of the low costs carriers on the national carriers and
some visions on air transport as well as effects of the open skies policies.
"The meeting will address a number of issues related to the Arab civil aviation and
the joint Arab activist, topped by air transport and its security and safety",
Faraj
said.
He added that the meeting would discuss the bilateral agreements with the European
Union and the international unions and the Arab nominations of the international
civil
aviation organization and agree on a common list in the coming elections.
ACAC was established in June 1996 as a regional organization for coordination and
cooperation among Arab countries and with other parts of the world in the field of
civil
aviation.
