Defense Minister inspects southern military area

LAHJ, Dec. 12 (Saba)- Minister
of Defense Mohammad Ahmad, along with governor of Dhale' Ali Taleb paid Saturday
inspection
visit to Lahj and Dhale' governorates where they inspected fighters in southern
military area.
During the visit, the defense minister delivered speeches before fighters in the
area. He highlighted champions of military fighters in Sa'ada, Harf Sufian and
Malahit where
they fight rebels courageously and teach them unforgotten lessons.
He touched on a number of duties before the national defense institution under the
process of deterring terrorist gang in Sa'ada governorate and Harf Sufian.
He affirmed importance of finishing duties of armed forces during training year
2009 and the good preparation for the next training and fighting year 2010.
He argued commanders, officers and fighters to be in alert and readiness status as
well as to protect the front of unity and improving deep rooted relations between
the
citizens.
