NDC APPROVES 26TH DEC. AS DATE TO START NATIONAL DIALOGUE

SANA'A, Dec. 13 (Saba)- The National Defense Council (NDC) approved
coming 26th December as date to start the national dialogue with all
political forces and civil society organization over all issues of
the nation.

In its meeting headed by President Ali Abdullah Saleh, the council
approved that date to discuss all issues of the country under the
constitution and national principles to come out with united
position to resolve these issues.

Moreover, the council discussed a report presented by the higher
security committee over fighting against terrorists and outlaw
elements in Saada province and Harf Sufyain district.

The council highly appreciated achievements of the armed and popular
forces against elements of terrorism and vandalism in Saada, Harf
Sufyain and Malhadh.

It also discussed efforts exerted to combat terror, pointing to the
arrests of al-Qeada elements who have been sent to the justice

The NDC affirmed importance of gathering efforts and cooperation to
face terror which damages security and economy of the nation

Regarding riots and outlaw acts in some southern district, the
council approved a set of measures to preserve the security and
public peace in these districts.
