Jakarta, Dec 15 (ANTARA) - A team of legislators on labor affairs found more than 1,300 human trafficking cases during their working visit in East Nusa Tenggara last week, Saifuddin, a member of the team said on Tuesday.

Therefore, the legislators who hailed from House Commission VIII urged all parities to pay a serious attention to the case by investigating it and taking a firm action against the human trafficking dealers.

The legislators team called on the law enforcers to act upon the laborer broker syndicates in East Nusa Tenggra (NTT), Saifuddin of the Greater Indonesia Movement (Gerindra) Party, said.

He said hat besides the 1,300 human trafficking cases, there were also illegal dispatches of workers overseas from NTT.

Saifuddin said that based on information from NTT's Deputy Governor Esthon Funay, there were many labor brokers grouped in a number of syndicates in NTT which worked very neat and under covers.

It was revealed that almost every day about 16 illegal workers were able to depart in eight flights to Surabaya where they meet further.
