ACEH NEEDS FISHERY INVESTORS
Banda Aceh, Dec 15 (ANTARA) - Aceh needs fishery industry investors in order to tap the fishery potentials of the Indonesian westernmost province, a local fishery official said.
"There is no need to worry about the fishery potentials of Aceh, particularly its sea fishery potentials. We also have enough potential human resources," Head of Aceh Maritime and Fishery Service Razali said here on Tuesday.
He said that Martime Vocational Schools (SMK) in Aceh had also produced special graduates with a knowledge in the fishery sector which so far had worked in a number of companies in Japan.
"This means that Aceh is not short of human resources but there is no company which operates in the fish industry field here," he said.
So far, he said, fish produced in Aceh was sold in the domestic market, and if it has a fish processing industry it would be able to export its processed fish products.
