UAE President receives letter from President Saleh

ABU DHABI, Dec. 16 (Saba) -
President of United Arab Emirates Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan received here on
Wednesday a letter
from President Ali Abdullah Saleh pertaining to the bilateral relations.
The letter was handed over to the UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan
by the Minister of Foreign Affaires Abu Bakr al-Qirbi.
In the letter, President Saleh thanks to the UAE country and president for their
support to Yemen in all areas, especially the UAE grant in the London Donor
Conference and
the UAE offer to build houses for the affected people in Hadramout and Mahrah
governorates due to the heavy rain- storm hit in October 2008.
In the meeting, UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan his country's
supportive attitude to the Yemeni unity, security, stability and the development
process
in the country as well.
He affirmed the UAE country's support to Yemen to overcome the rebellion of
al-Houthi in Sa'ada governorate, saying that UAE is all confident that Yemen is
able to put an
end to the rebellion.
