Saudi Minister of Education Starts Jordan Visit

Amman, Jordan, December 16, 2009, SPA -- Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al
Saud, The Minister of Education arrived here last night on a five-day official
visit during which he will review educational cooperation between the Kingdom of
Saudi Arabia and Jordan.


Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Saud was received at the airport by the
Special envoy and special advisor to King of Jordan, Prince Ghazi bin Mohammed;
Minister of Education Dr. Ibrahim Badran; Saudi Ambassador to Jordan Fahd AL Zaid
and a number of senior officials.


Upon Arrival, the Minister of Education made a statement to the press in which he
stressed the deep-rooted Saudi-Jordanian relations.


He lauded the Jordanian Experience in the Educational field and noted the current
challenges facing the Arab nation. "The best way to address these challenges is
through acquiring knowledge and interpreting them from all their aspects and
intrinsic domains and feedbacks as well as laying foundation for the sustainable
development programs."
