Imported car sales in S. Korea to grow 20 pct in 2010

SEOUL, Dec. 17 (Yonhap) -- Sales of imported cars in South Korea are expected to
rise by 20 percent next year from this year's estimate, an industry group said
Thursday.

Consumers are likely to buy roughly 74,000 imported cars in South Korea next
year, compared with an estimated tally of more than 61,000 cars this year, the
Korea Automobile Importers & Distributors Association said in a statement.
Yoon Dae-sung, executive vice president of the group, said the nation's market
for imported cars would see a recovery in 2010.
