FM: YEMENI-UAE MEETINGS RESULTED POSITIVELY

SANA'A, Dec. 18 (Saba)- Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi described
Friday results of the Yemeni-UAE Joint Committee, ended meetings on
Thursday, as successful and positive contributing to reinforcing
cooperation between the two countries in different fields.

The remarks were said to Saba upon arrival of FM al-Qirbi who added
that "a number of agreements were signed topped by allocating the
financial pledges the UAE committed in London Donor Conference in
2006 to provide to Yemen estimated at $650 million."

The minister noted that the UAE side affirmed the importance of
promoting economic cooperation and pushing Emirates investment to
Yemen, in addition to the UAE stance which supports unity, security
and stability of Yemen.
