BANK SULUT TO ISSUE RP500 BILLION BONDS
Manado, Dec 18 (ANTARA) - Bank Sulut plans to issue five-year bonds of Rp500 billion in February next year to finance its credit expansion business.
"All preparations for the issuance of the bonds including trustee agent have been completed. We plan to issue the bonds on February 1, 2010," Bank Sulut President Director Jeffry Wurangian said here on Friday.
The bank would use Rp450 billion of proceeds from the bond issuance to finance its credit expansion and Rp50 billion to strengthen its paid-up capital, he said.
"We are optimistic the bonds will be in great demand since the bank's prospectus continues to improve. Our profit also continues to increase compared to the previous year," he said.
He said the bank's financial performance in the second half of 2009 was also improving, meaning that the global crisis did not have a significant impact on the bank.
