In an address at the function, Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz lauded King Khalid's great
accomplishments at local, regional, Islamic and international arenas.


"In fact, the story of King Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al Saud speaks about the story
and march of a nation characterized by good deeds and aspiring morals with
capabilities to prepare for the worst and to bring about advancement in science
and knowledge," Prince Naif said.


"King Khalid has served this country well, since he ascended to power. He had
worked honestly in good faith and wisdom for the elevation of his religion, for the
glory of his country and for the happiness of his people. His great endeavors have
contributed in the development of Saudi Arabia in all domains, as he had also
worked with devotion and dedication in the service of Arab and Islamic nations, in
defence of their issues and enabling Saudi Arabia to enjoy an excellent presence at
all Arab, Islamic and international levels," Prince Naif noted.


"Moreover, this Award is an extension to King Khalid's Islamic methods, is also an
attestation of his great efforts and commemoration of his beloved name," he said.
