Shoura Council holds session

Riyadh, December 20, 2009, SPA -- Presided over by its Speaker Dr. Abdullah bin
Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, the Shoura Council held here today its 61st
ordinary session.

In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) following the session, the Secretary
General of Shoura Council Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Ghamdi said that the Council
discussed a report of the Financial Affairs Committee on the draft regulations of
state's revenues.

Dr. Al-Ghamdi said that the draft regulations aim to accelerate the collection of
State's revenues in away that improves the performance and effectiveness of
financial policies.
