yEMEN FOREIGN DEBTS INCREASED SLIGHTLY IN END OF OCTOBER
SANA'A, Dec. 23 (Saba)- Yemen's foreign debts increased slightly in
end of October of 2009 up to $ 6.2 billion compared September at
increase of $ 23 million, a report of Central Bank of Yemen said on
Wednesday.
According to the report, Yemen owned for the International Finance
Corporation (IFC) $ 2.207 billion and $ 665 million for the Arab
Fund for Social and Economic Development.
The debt for the Paris Club Members came in second place by $ 1.749
billion, including $ 219 million for Russia, $ 268,6 million for
Japan, with the rest of the debt for the U.S., France, Italy, Spain,
Denmark, Holland and Germany.And the debts for Paris Club Members
came in second place by $ 1.760 billion, most of which for Russia at
$ 1.219 billion and then Japan with $ 277 million.
The debts for Non-Paris Club Members came in their place with $ 883
million.
The rest of the debt was for the IMF, OPEC, the Islamic Development
Bank and the EU.
