Police arrest Indian national for possessing fake currency

Kathmandu, Dec 25 (PTI) An Indian national has been
arrested by Nepal police for possessing fake Nepalese and
Indian currency notes.
Jahangir Seikh, has been nabbed from a rented
accommodation in Lalitpur district near Kathmandu Thursday,
police said.
The police seized Nepalese rupees amounting to 292,000
and Indian currency 5,000 along with two photocopiers from
Seikh.
Seikh has been detained following a tip-off from a
reliable source police said adding they are carrying out
further investigation into the matter. PTI SBP
