11,428 weapons seized since beginning of December

SANA'A, Dec. 26 (Saba)-Since
beginning of December, police have seized around 11,428 weapon pieces across the
country, a
website of interior ministry reported on Friday.
The information center of the ministry quoted senior commanders at the ministry
that 940 pieces of were seized inside cities and rest seized in regions of the
security belts
around different cities of the country.
They added that they are monitoring process of carrying out a decision of banning
shouldering weapons daily. In 2007, the cabinet decided to ban shouldering weapons
inside
cities.
